Ostra Lamp Selected for Tulane Design Showcase

I’m excited to share that my Ostra Lamp project has been selected for the Tulane Design Showcase, an annual exhibition highlighting some of the strongest work produced across the design program. The showcase brings together projects from a range of disciplines, recognizing work that demonstrates thoughtful concept development, strong execution, and clear design intent.

Ostra is a product design project that explores modular construction and layered structure, drawing inspiration from natural systems. The lamp is composed of repeated triangular modules that create both form and light diffusion, resulting in a balance between structural clarity and visual complexity. The project focuses on how repetition, variation, and material can work together to produce an object that is both functional and expressive.

Being included in the showcase is especially meaningful because it reflects not just the final object, but the iterative process behind it—testing form, refining structure, and developing a cohesive visual and physical language. It’s also an opportunity to present the work in a broader context, alongside projects that push design thinking in different directions.
